DAILY CALLER: ARE MAYORS FUELING THE OPIOID CRISIS BY STIFLING ENFORCEMENT?

My latest piece The Daily Caller addresses the municipal policies that may be enabling addicts who are living in homeless encampments in many US cities by limiting law enforcement presence and arrests for drug offenses and quality of life crimes.

What do you think should be done to address this issue within the opioid crisis? What do you believe are the responsibilities of municipal government to the taxpayer/homeowners in these areas respective to those of the homeless setting up these encampments?
